Parents play a key role within the American school system. Inspired by this model, parents are also an important resource for EFAC, and are strongly encouraged to participate in the school based upon their talents, skills, time and motivation.
There are many ways parents can volunteer:
- At the beginning of each new school year, parents can volunteer to serve as a “room parent” for an American class. It is important to have a French “room parent” in each grade to facilitate the integration of EFAC with the American community of Lincoln School.
- During the school year, parents can either organize or participate in numerous francophone cultural events. You can review examples of these events in the Event Heading hereafter.
- EFAC is always in need of volunteers. Your ideas help us to continually improve the school and preserve its strong reputation.
