Constitution and role

The School Council is composed of the principal, teachers and 4 parent-delegates representing the four grade sections. This Board is for one year and members are elected each year during the annual General Assembly meeting of parents of active students in September. The latter provide an important liaison between the parents of the respective sections and the teaching team.

Chaired by the Director, it meets once every quarter and reviews all educational matters, especially matters of discipline, class work, homework, school activities, school operations and special projects.

These meetings provide an opportunity for an exchange of views between parents and teaching staff. They deal with general issues and are not a substitute for individual meetings between parents and teachers on personal issues.
