To ensure the quality of the teaching environment, EFAC requires that a child’s knowledge of the French language match the current grade level. It is essential that French is spoken natively by at least one person in the immediate environment of the child.

EFAC, the French-American School of Chicago offers the French Ministry of National Education’s scholastic program, integrated within the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) system. The school covers all levels from Kindergarten to 12th grade (with certification through the French level CM2 and the opportunity to take the French section of the French Baccalauréat).
